Our certified ultrasonic nondestructive testing personnel provide complete volumetric coverage of weld leg, root, face, toe, throat from the exterior faces of the welded elements. WELDUT complements structure maintenance programs is providing quantitative data on cracks, lamination, and lamellar tear in weld body.
Phased Array Ultrasound Testing
Conventional or phased array ultrasound are used in our weld inspection procedures. Our procedure exploits the powerful focusing capabilities of phased array ultrasound. From the exterior face of the welded elements, ultrasound is focused through the volume of the weld to maximize the amount of ultrasound reflected from defects located at various depths from the exterior face and at various lengths from the weld toe.
Inspections are now completed timely and affordably.
